Intellectual Property & Content Rights

Everything you bring to a project remains yours. Your recordings, scripts, brand, show name and any material you supply are your property, and nothing here changes that.

By sharing that material with us, you grant a limited licence to use it only to carry out the work you booked. That licence ends when the work is complete, except for the copies we retain for the period described in the Podcast Production Terms.

The audio we produce for you is made for you to own and use.

• On full payment, rights in the final delivered episodes and materials transfer to you.
• You may publish, distribute and monetise the finished work on any platform.
• The transfer covers the specific deliverables produced under your engagement.

Rights transfer on full payment. Until the amounts due for a deliverable are paid, that deliverable remains our property and is licensed to you only for review.

A few things remain with the studio, and none of them limit your ownership of your finished episodes.

• Studio tools and methods. Our production techniques, templates and internal processes remain ours.
• Working files. Project sessions and intermediate files are our working material; the agreed final formats are your deliverables.
• Pre-existing assets. Anything we owned before your project stays ours.

Where an episode includes music or other third-party content, the rights to that content are held by whoever licensed it, normally you. We do not provide music licensing, and producing an episode does not grant you any rights in third-party material within it.

You confirm you hold the necessary rights for any content you supply, and that confirmation is part of your engagement.

We may wish to reference completed work in our own portfolio. We will not do so for an unreleased show without your permission.

• Once a show is public, we may name it and link to it as an example of our work.
• We will not present your show as our own creative property.
• You can ask us not to feature your project, and we will respect that.

So that we can deliver and, where agreed, publish your show, you grant us permission to handle your material for those purposes: to edit and produce it, to prepare files and metadata, and to hand off deliverables to the platforms you choose. This permission is limited to the work and does not let us use your content for anything else.

Our own materials, including this site and its code, are protected and may not be copied for use elsewhere. Just as we respect your ownership of your content, we ask that you respect ours, and that any material either side supplies does not infringe a third party's rights.

If a question arises over rights in supplied material, we may pause the affected part of a project until it is resolved, and we tell you why. You agree to cover us for claims arising from content you supplied and confirmed you had the right to use.

We may update this policy as the studio's practice develops. The date at the top of the page records when the current version took effect, and the version in force when your quote is accepted governs your engagement.
